Background
When the Great Astral Spirit of Rena formed and devoured the planet's astral energy, it took the Helganquil under its mind control; they attack anything regarded as a threat to their master, yet face extinction. To bolster their numbers they gathered most of the Dahnan mages to the space colony of Lenegis and re-engineered them into Renans, who, unable to be controlled directly by the Great Spirit, were managed by technological means instead. During the Crown Contest they took the disguise of the Red Women who monitor the Lords, invisible to Renans, while holding the Dark master core in the Forbidden Zone on Lenegis.
After the party assembles the five master cores, the Red Woman of Ganath Haros combines them with the Dark core into the Renas Alma and vanishes; a month later the Helganquil fire the Wedge from Lenegis and place Vholran in a chamber substituting for the Maiden to drain Dahna through the Spirit Channeling Ceremony. The party disrupts it, and the Red Women reveal their true forms, ambush the party on the Falneitz and banish them to the far reaches of space, where they meet Hevrekt-35, the one Helganquil free of the Great Spirit's control.
After the Twin Worlds merge, only a few survive in hibernation within Mausoleums. They fight at range with chakrams, teleport and cast Dark-elemental artes.
