The Silver Swords are a Cyslodian resistance organization in Tales of Arise led by Meneck. They are forced to operate under a constant fear of betrayal by informants, which sows distrust among their own members.

Background

Because of the Bureau of Civil Observation's iron grip on Cyslodia, the Silver Swords cannot fully trust one another despite sharing the goal of overthrowing Ganabelt Valkyris. Ganabelt exploits this by disguising himself as Meneck to control the realm, but the same distrust becomes his downfall: as soon as Meneck reveals himself as Ganabelt after fatally poisoning Zephyr, Alphen's party is able to hide, storm Riville Prison Tower and kill him, freeing Cyslodia and letting the Silver Swords drive the Renans out of Cysloden for good. Meneck's right-hand man Bregon becomes the de facto leader. Rinwell is one of the newest members, and the group uses the aqueduct beneath Cysloden as a communications line and escape route. After the liberation the Silver Swords fill the void in government and help the citizens regain their individuality.
