Background
The games are a lethal hide-and-seek in a maze, a jump-rope crossing judged by the VIPs, and the final Sky Squid Game, in which players push each other off raised platforms over three rounds. Kim Jun-hee gives birth during hide-and-seek and later sacrifices herself, and the VIPs let her baby continue as Player 222. In-ho offers Gi-hun a deal to kill the other finalists, as Oh Il-nam once offered him in 2015, and Gi-hun refuses. In the end Gi-hun throws himself off the platform so that the baby wins, In-ho rescues the child, and the island is evacuated as the coast guard approaches. The season was filmed back to back with season 2.
