The Siege of Camp Jupiter is the attack on Camp Jupiter, the Roman demigod camp in the San Francisco Bay Area, in The Son of Neptune. Returning from Alaska, Percy Jackson regains his memory and finds an army of monsters led by the giant Polybotes attacking the camp. Percy defeats Polybotes with the help of Terminus, his Cyclops half-brother Tyson and his hellhound Mrs. O'Leary.

Camp Jupiter is attacked again in The Tyrant's Tomb, when Hazel Levesque and Frank Zhang team up with Apollo and Meg McCaffrey to protect it from the emperors Commodus and Caligula and the undead king Tarquin in the Battle of San Francisco Bay. Frank burns his stick of life for the final time to kill Caligula.
Reader's Guide
In The Son of Neptune, Percy, Frank and Hazel are sent to Alaska to free Thanatos from the giant Alcyoneus, and on their return they find the camp under attack. As a reward for his bravery, Percy is elevated to the rank of praetor, replacing the missing Jason Grace. Before the second attack, Leo Valdez flies to Camp Jupiter on Festus to warn the camp of the coming invasion.
