Reader's Guide
In The House of Hades, after Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson fall into Tartarus, the other five demigods of the Prophecy of Seven, aided by Nico di Angelo and Coach Hedge, sail to Greece to close the Doors of Death. In The Blood of Olympus they learn that Gaea's army plans to attack the Acropolis in Athens, not Mount Olympus. With help from the gods, the demigods defeat the giants in Athens, where Leo Valdez sacrifices himself to defeat Gaea; he is brought back to life with the Physician's Cure.
