Cair Paravel
The castle of the Narnian kings and queens at the mouth of the Great River.
Cair Paravel is the castle that serves as Narnia's seat of government. It stands at the mouth of the Great River on the coast of the Eastern Ocean, at first on a peninsula and later on an island. The four Pevensie children are crowned there at the end of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Lore & Background
In Prince Caspian the Pevensies are pulled back to Narnia and land on a beach by an old ruin, which they work out is Cair Paravel, 1,300 years after their reign. In its treasure vault they find Peter's sword and shield, Susan's bow and arrows, and Lucy's dagger and cordial; Susan's horn is missing. The ruined towers of Dunluce Castle on the Antrim coast, which Lewis visited as a boy, are often suggested as its inspiration.
