Lore & Background

Archenland is an ally of Narnia. In The Horse and His Boy Shasta and his companions cross the desert by a hidden route to warn King Lune that Prince Rabadash of Calormen means to attack. Shasta proves to be Lune's lost son Cor, twin of Prince Corin, kidnapped as a baby to thwart a prophecy that he would save Archenland from its greatest peril. Cor and Aravis later marry and rule Archenland, and their son Ram becomes its most famous king.
