The Great Eastern Ocean, sailed by the Dawn Treader towards Aslan's Country.
The Great Eastern Ocean lies east of Narnia. Cair Paravel, the seat of Narnia's government, stands at the mouth of the Great River on its coast. Nearer in, the Bight of Calormen is home to the Merpeople and to the islands of Galma, Terebinthia, the Seven Isles and the Lone Islands.

Lore & Background
Farther out lie Dragon Island, Burnt Island, Death Water Island, the Island of the Duffers, Dark Island and the Island of the Star, the islands visited in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Beyond them, at the eastern edge of the world past the rising sun, is Aslan's Country, which rings the whole Narnian world. Sea serpents and other huge sea monsters are rumoured to live in these waters, though most dismiss the tales as sailors' superstition.
