Lore & Background
The name kept the beavers' memory alive, though no beavers appear in the later books. The community grew up some time between the Pevensies' reign and the Telmarine conquest and lasted under Telmarine rule. In Prince Caspian, when Miraz purged the nobles who might threaten him, the two brothers who were lords of Beaversdam were locked up as madmen.
