Liverpool Football Club Women is a professional English women's football team based in St Helens, Merseyside, England. Founded in 1989 as Newton Ladies F.C., the club has been the official women's division of Liverpool FC since 1994. They were a founding member of the Women's Super League in 2011 and won back-to-back WSL titles in 2013 and 2014, as well as the FA Women's Championship in 2022.

The club was founded in 1989 by former England international Liz Deighan as Newton LFC, later renamed Knowsley United WFC. In 1994, they linked with Liverpool FC and became Liverpool Ladies F.C. They reached FA Women's Cup finals in 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996, losing each time. After spells in the second tier, they became a founding member of the Women's Super League in 2011. In 2013, Liverpool became the first English club to offer full-time professional contracts to female players, leading to WSL titles in 2013 and 2014. They were relegated in 2020 but won the FA Women's Championship in 2022 to return to the top flight.
