The Truth of P
The hidden story of who P really is.
The game "Lies of P" features a protagonist named P who is the revived Puppet of Carlo, Geppetto's son.[1] Geppetto added a secret directive into the Covenant to control most Puppets, but Sentient Puppets with awakened "Ego" can bypass these restrictions.[1] A post-credits scene reveals that Giangio is actually Philippus Paracelsus, who labels P "a new brother" and sentient Puppets "a new type of humanity".[2]
How it changed
The King of Puppets was the revived Puppet of Romeo, Carlo's best friend, and tried to warn P of Geppetto's deception before his death.[1] The man posing as treasure hunter Alidoro is an impostor who killed the original and was complicit in an attack on the hotel.[1] The "King of Riddles" contacting P by phone is Arlecchino, one of the first Sentient Puppets.[1] Paracelsus hints that he and a woman played a key role in triggering recent events in Krat.[2]
The woman on the phone tells Paracelsus that eternal life can take many forms.[2] Defeating main bosses in the game rewards players with Rare Ergos.[3] Paracelsus declares he will come back to Krat later to search for a person he calls "another key", "Dorothy".[2] On a Krat rooftop, an individual walks and then taps their shoe heels together three times.[2]
What the maker and period sources say
TheGamer's walkthrough notes that after reaching Hotel Krat, players encounter several NPCs including Treasure Hunter Alidoro.[3] According to the walkthrough, telling the truth to a particular non-player character gives the player an Electric Blitz Abrasive.[3]
