Free From the Puppet String (Ending)
The ending in which P refuses Geppetto but stays a puppet.
Free From the Puppet String is the Lies of P ending for a P with low humanity, usually from mostly telling the truth, who refuses to give Geppetto his heart; it is also the outcome whenever Sophia was left alive. Disappointed, Geppetto unleashes the Nameless Puppet as the true final boss.
Background
When the Nameless Puppet leaps to impale the fallen P, Geppetto throws himself between them and is run through. He scolds the puppet for trying to destroy the heart, which gives P the moment to finish it, and then dies calling P a useless puppet. Back at Hotel Krat, every survivor thanks P.
