P (Pinocchio)
The human-looking Puppet with free will whom the player controls.
P, short for Pinocchio, is the protagonist of Lies of P, a silent Puppet played from a third-person view. Unlike other Puppets he looks just like a human, is untouched by the Frenzy and is not bound by the Covenant, so he can lie or kill as a person could. Geppetto considers him his son, and he fights through Krat with melee weapons, a mechanical Legion Arm and Ergo, using Hotel Krat as his base.
Background
The game loosely adapts Carlo Collodi's 1883 novel The Adventures of Pinocchio, to which it is dedicated. Late in the story it emerges that P is the revived Puppet of Carlo, Geppetto's dead son, and his choices to lie or tell the truth shape both side stories and the ending. In the most human ending he cries over the dying Geppetto, who at last accepts him as his son.
