Kenjaku Merges With Tengen
Kenjaku takes the immortal Tengen, the last piece his plan needs.
Kenjaku's seizure of Tengen is the turning point of the Culling Game. Once the game has served its purpose, he storms Jujutsu High and takes the immortal sorcerer for the merger he has planned between Tengen and humanity.
Lore & Background
Tengen is vulnerable because the merger with the Star Plasma Vessel failed in 2006. Yuki Tsukumo and Choso stay behind in the Tombs of the Star Corridor as guards. Choso fights first, then Yuki, who does enough damage to force Kenjaku to show abilities other than Suguru Geto's, among them the gravity technique of Kaori Itadori.
Reader's Guide
Yuki sacrifices herself, turning into a miniature black hole so that Choso can escape with what they have learned, but Kenjaku survives and corners the weakened Tengen. With Tengen under his control the sorcerers have to speed up their plans. When Yuta Okkotsu later beheads Kenjaku, a failsafe sends Tengen's remains to Sukuna; after Sukuna's death those remains are used to stabilize the barriers.
