Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc
A school competition turned battlefield when Hanami and the curse users break in.
The Kyoto Goodwill Event arc covers the exchange event between the Tokyo and Kyoto Jujutsu High schools, a competition that is cut short when a cursed spirit and curse users attack.
Lore & Background
The Kyoto students arrive for the event, where Yuji Itadori reveals that he is alive. On the orders of principal Gakuganji several Kyoto students plan to kill him under cover of the team competition. Aoi Todo, who takes a liking to Yuji, refuses to go along and instead fights him and teaches him Black Flash. Elsewhere Panda fights Mechamaru, Mai Zen'in takes down Nobara Kugisaki, Maki Zen'in defeats Mai and Megumi Fushiguro faces Noritoshi Kamo.
Reader's Guide
The cursed spirit Hanami and a group of curse users then invade, raising a barrier built to keep Satoru Gojo out. Megumi, Toge Inumaki, Kamo and Maki hold Hanami off until Yuji and Todo take over with Black Flash and Boogie Woogie. Gojo breaks the barrier and blasts away part of the forest, forcing Hanami to flee. The attack was a diversion: Mahito slipped into Tokyo Jujutsu High, killed several sorcerers and stole six of Sukuna's fingers and three Death Paintings. The event resumes as a baseball game and ends with Tokyo as the winner.
