Toji Fushiguro, the Sorcerer Killer, dies in 2006 at the hands of Satoru Gojo, the student he had left for dead a short while earlier.
Lore & Background
Hired by the Time Vessel Association to kill the Star Plasma Vessel, Toji ambushes Gojo at Tokyo Jujutsu High, gets past his powers with a special grade cursed tool and stabs him. He then shoots Riko Amanai, defeats Suguru Geto and delivers the girl's body for payment. There Gojo confronts him again: he has healed himself with his Reverse Cursed Technique for the first time, and now fires Hollow Purple, which destroys the left side of Toji's body. Before dying, Toji tells Gojo that his son Megumi will be sold to the Zen'in clan in a few years.
Reader's Guide
Toji returns once more during the Shibuya Incident, when the curse user Ogami's séance calls him into her grandson's body. He takes over the vessel, exorcises Dagon and fights Megumi; satisfied that the boy goes by the name Fushiguro, he stabs himself in the head to end the possession.
