Ileana D'Cruz (born 1 November 1986) is an Indian actress, known for her work in Hindi and Telugu cinema. She has won a Filmfare Award and a Filmfare Award South. She began her film career in 2006 with the Telugu romantic drama *Devadasu*, which was a hit and earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She became a top actress in Telugu films through hits such as *Pokiri* (2006), *Jalsa* (2008), *Kick* (2009), and *Julayi* (2012). She also appeared in the Tamil film *Nanban* (2012), which did well commercially. In 2012, she moved into Hindi cinema with Anurag Basu's comedy-drama *Barfi!*, winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Her first modeling portfolio, made in January 2003, she called a "disaster." After more photo shoots and runway work, she created a second portfolio in 2004, which led to ads for Electrolux, Emami Talc, and Fair & Lovely.
