The Outcasts
Alvin the Treacherous's tribe, Berk's raiding enemy in DreamWorks Dragons.
The Outcasts are a Viking tribe led by Alvin the Treacherous, the main enemies of Berk in the first two seasons of the DreamWorks Dragons series. They raid Berk in search of the "Dragon Conqueror", hold Outcast Island, and use Heather, whose parents they hold, to steal the Book of Dragons. In Cressida Cowell's novels the Outcasts are a tribe of cannibalistic Vikings founded by a banished traitor, Thugheart, with Alvin as their chief.

The Outcasts fake Bork's notes to trap Hiccup, win over the Berk villager Mildew, and plant Whispering Death eggs in the caverns under Berk during an attack. They also capture Meatlug and the Skrill, and Alvin forms an uneasy truce with Dagur's Berserkers to invade Berk. After Dagur betrays him, Alvin's warnings help Berk beat the invasion, and Hiccup plans to end the war between the Outcasts and Berk; Alvin becomes an ally of Berk at the end of the second season.
