Adam
The first man, leader of the Exorcists, and the loudest voice against redemption.
Adam is the first human, a high-ranking angel of Heaven and the main antagonist of the first season of Hazbin Hotel, voiced by Alex Brightman. He commands the Exorcist angels and with them the annual Exterminations of Hell. Narcissistic, self-centred and immature, he dismisses and mocks Charlie's idea that sinners could ascend to Heaven. In "The Show Must Go On" he is killed by Niffty during the battle between Heaven and Hell.

Background
Adam first appears in "Overture", where Charlie's meeting with him goes badly and he tells her the next Extermination has been moved up by six months. In "Welcome to Heaven" he reveals to Charlie that Vaggie was one of his exterminators and accidentally exposes the Exterminations to all of Heaven. He wants revenge on Hell for the killing of one of his Exorcists. Leading the Extermination in person in the finale, he badly wounds Alastor and forces him to flee; Lucifer saves Charlie from him, and Niffty finally stabs him in the back. He returns in season two as a hallucination seen by Lute. He is straight, and his meek son Abel succeeds him as head of the Exorcists.
The idea of the Extermination was Adam's own, pitched to the seraphim Sera on the promise that it would prevent an uprising from Hell. Brightman also voices Sir Pentious, the sinner who dies stopping Adam.
