Reclaimers is the Forerunners' designation for humanity as inheritors of their legacy. When the Covenant leadership discovered this, and that their religion was built on falsehoods, they began a genocidal war against humanity to keep the truth hidden.
Lore & Background
In Halo: Combat Evolved 343 Guilty Spark needs a human Reclaimer to activate Installation 04, and assumes that all Reclaimers already know what the rings do. 343 Industries' Halo 4, Halo 5: Guardians and Halo Infinite are grouped as the Reclaimer Saga.
