Gameplay
Premier Manager 2004–2005 puts the player in charge of a team from English, French, German, Italian, Scottish, or Spanish leagues. Players undertake meetings with chairmen, coaches, scouts, and players, with dialogue choices affecting club personnel perceptions and player performance. The player selects starting line-ups and formations, with matches shown in a 2D isometric view.
Reception
The title reviewed poorly. The PC version received a score of 12/100 from PC Zone's Steve Hill, who called it more primitive than the original Premier Manager and described the gameplay as painfully slow. The Daily Record also noted the slowness, calling the game a clunking mess that makes fast PC chips redundant. P2 magazine's Kendall Lacey gave the PlayStation 2 version 4/10, citing a clunky interface and budget-title feel. The Game Boy Advance version was more positively received by Cube magazine, which described it as quite easy but a worthwhile attempt at recreating a football manager game away from powerhouse consoles.
