Background

Born in Vejle, Reedtz was a gifted badminton player courted by Denmark's big clubs at 14, but turned them down over a knee injury and a stronger passion for games. He started in Counter-Strike: Source with Copenhagen Wolves and made his CS:GO debut in March 2013 as a stand-in for Fnatic before joining the Wolves lineup with dupreeh and cajunb, reaching the top eight at DreamHack Winter 2013.

The roster moved to Team Dignitas in 2014 and to Team SoloMid in 2015, where dev1ce finished the year third in HLTV's top 20. After leaving TSM the players competed as Question Mark and in January 2016 founded their own organisation, Astralis. The team won the ELEAGUE Major 2017 and topped the world ranking for most of 2017 and 2018, a year in which dev1ce earned seven tournament MVP awards, beating GeT_RiGhT's record of six, and was ranked the world's second-best player.

He collected four Major titles with Astralis and was MVP of both the FACEIT Major: London 2018 and the StarLadder Major: Berlin 2019. He joined Ninjas in Pyjamas in April 2021, returned to Astralis in October 2022, and was named to Forbes' 30 Under 30 Europe list for sports and games in 2020.
