Background

Gustafsson grew up in Tyresö and developed an interest in football at the age of four, remaining active in the sport until a knee injury at fifteen; the injury became the catalyst for taking Counter-Strike more seriously. After quiet spells with H2k and Absolute Legends he rose to prominence at LGB eSports in 2013 alongside KRIMZ and dennis, and in June 2014 he and KRIMZ joined Fnatic. At ESL One Cologne 2014 he defused the bomb on Overpass an instant before a Molotov would have killed him, a clip that earned commemorative graffiti on the map and a Glock-18 skin.

At DreamHack Winter 2014 Fnatic were seeded against rivals Team LDLC in the quarter-final, and during the match Gustafsson became the centre of controversy when his teammates boosted him into an illegal position, unknown to him, that let the team come back from a nine-round deficit. LDLC's complaint led to a ruling that the match be replayed, Fnatic countered that LDLC had used a similar position, the organiser ordered the whole map replayed, and Fnatic forfeited and withdrew. The incident became infamous, and he and the map Overpass were nicknamed Boostmeister and Olofpass. He considered quitting but stayed, and 2015 became his year: Fnatic won Katowice and then Cologne, the first team to take back-to-back Majors, and he was widely rated the best player in the world. In 2016 Fnatic beat Luminosity 3-0 to win IEM Katowice before a hand injury forced him out in April.

He signed with FaZe Clan on 20 August 2017 and has won ten events there, including ESL One New York 2017, but lost the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 final to Cloud9. He stepped away twice for personal reasons and fatigue, with Xizt and Cromen standing in, and returned permanently in June 2021.
