Background

Her mother promises that her father will deal with the Titans with cannon fire, but Louise notices an Abnormal charging straight at them. Mikasa Ackerman cuts it down in moments, then threatens Reeves until he moves his wagon so the citizens can escape Trost. When mother and daughter thank her, Mikasa salutes, and the delighted Louise returns the gesture.

Years later, some time after Wall Maria is retaken, Louise enlists in the Survey Corps out of admiration for Mikasa, whom she has come to idolize, and fights in the Raid of Liberio in 854. When Eren is detained for defying orders, she is one of a few sympathizers who leak word of his arrest to pressure the military into freeing him; Hange Zoë arrests the group once they are discovered, and Louise is let down to learn she will not occupy the cell that once held Mikasa.

The "Yeagerists", fellow sympathizers, break her out, and she meets Eren during his own escape. She later dies of a thunder spear fragment lodged in her stomach.
