Captain Torres is an Erusean naval officer who commands the Alicorn, a submersible aircraft carrier. He leads the Kingfishers, a radical Erusean faction that seeks to prolong the Lighthouse War. Torres's actions during the conflict make him a notable antagonist in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

Captain Torres is the commander of the Alicorn, a massive submersible aircraft carrier. He leads the Kingfishers, a radical Erusean faction that emerges after the Erusean capital of Farbanti is captured by Osea. Following a catastrophic global communications blackout caused by anti-satellite weapons, Erusea loses control over its AI-driven drone fleet and collapses into a civil war between conservatives and radicals. The radicals, including Torres and the Kingfishers, seek to prolong the war.
