Operation Vanguard
Wardog Squadron and the Arkbird combined forces to defeat the Yuktobanian assault.[1] Osea conducted a defensive campaign named Operation Vanguard during the Circum-Pacific War.[1] Yuktobania tried to seize Sand Island Air Force Base through an amphibious assault and brought the Scinfaxi submarine aircraft carrier into action.[1] The operation took place on October 4, 2010, at Sand Island Air Force Base.[4]
Osea achieved a win: the base held out and the Scinfaxi was eliminated.[4]

Battle
The Arkbird destroyed a burst missile with its laser, then later forced the Scinfaxi to surface by firing its laser into the ocean.[2] Wardog attacked the surfaced Scinfaxi, and Blaze shot a missile into its interior, destroying it.[2]
Result
The sister ship Hrimfaxi escaped to Razgriz Straits without taking a hit from Osean forces.[3] Because the Scinfaxi and nearly all the invasion troops were lost, Yuktobania could not make up for those casualties.[3]
