Matias Torres
Matias Torres is a character from Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, appearing as the main antagonist in its DLC missions.[1] Torres rebelled against Erusea during the Lighthouse War and attempted to nuke the Osean capital of Oured.[1] A decorated ex-member of the Erusean Navy, he served as the captain of the submersible aviation cruiser Alicorn.[1] He stated that his objective was to save ten million lives by terrifying both factions into ending the conflict, yet his actual desire was to eliminate a million people with a shot fired from over the horizon, a act he found beautiful and elegant.[1]
Torres was born on April 9, 1968, and died on September 14, 2019, during Operation Fisherman.[6] He held the ranks of Gunnery Officer and Captain, and was also known as the Hero of Comberth Harbor and Valkyrie.[6]
