Mother Box

The living supercomputers of the New Gods.

Mother Boxes are devices from Jack Kirby's Fourth World. Made by the Apokoliptian scientist Himon from Element X, they are generally thought to be sentient, portable supercomputers, with abilities ranging from teleportation to energy manipulation that even the gods of New Genesis do not fully understand.

Lore & Background

Mother Boxes and Father Boxes appear in Young Justice. Halo is resurrected and possessed by a Mother Box buried with Gabrielle Daou's body, and the New God Orion needs a Mother Box to calm his rage.
