The Sword of Beowulf
A magic sword that only a pure heart, good or evil, can draw.
The Sword of Beowulf is a magical sword once wielded by the hero Beowulf, and later by Harm in Young Justice. Only someone with a pure heart, whether purely good or purely evil, can draw it from its scabbard, a grey humanoid arm that grips the cross-guard until the spell is spoken.
Background
When its power is called on with the words "abannan afol Beowulf", the blade glows orange, fires deadly beams of energy and gives its wielder great strength, speed and reflexes. The sword was made up for the show: none of the four swords Beowulf uses in the poem has any magic.
