Nuln

One of the Empire's great cities, and a frequent setting of Warhammer games.

Nuln is one of the main cities of the Empire in Warhammer Fantasy, listed with Altdorf, the capital, Middenheim, Talabheim and Averheim.

Lore & Background

It appears in several Warhammer video games. In Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat the mercenary Bernhardt escorts a dwarf envoy to Nuln to ask Emperor Karl Franz for help against a Skaven plot. Nuln's army is one of the three playable factions of Warhammer: Mark of Chaos. Warhammer: Chaosbane opens in Nuln, where a Chaos sorceress curses Emperor Magnus in his tower and the hero is sent after a Nurgle cult in the city's sewers.
