The Dwarfs of Warhammer Fantasy are an ancient, tough and determined race who played a key part in the founding of the Empire, allying with Sigmar's tribes. They are the greatest craftsmen in the world, a skill matched only by the Chaos Dwarfs, who broke away after being corrupted by Chaos.
Lore & Background
Most Dwarf cities lie underground, and their capital is Karaz-a-Karak in the mountains. As with Tolkien's dwarves, their numbers are falling, and many of their old cities and tunnels are now held by Night Goblins and Skaven; Dwarfs, Skaven and Orcs and Goblins wage an endless three-way war for the underground. The Norse Dwarfs, the most northerly of the Old World's Dwarfs, have grown wilder over their long separation from the southern holds.
