Norsca
The Scandinavian-like north of the Old World.
Norsca is a northern land of the Warhammer Fantasy world, matching Scandinavia in its place on the map, its shape and its climate. To its north lies the Realm of Chaos, the Chaos Wastes, and between Norsca and Kislev is the wilderness of Troll Country.
Lore & Background
High Elves and Dwarfs were its first inhabitants, and some old sites remain, such as the Forest of Knives in the middle of Norsca, home to an ancient Elven temple. Norsca and the Eastern Steppes are sometimes counted as part of the Wastes, whose barbarian tribes include the Norse. In the Legend of Sigmar novels the Norse are the main enemies of the first two books.
