Lizardmen
The reptilian servants of the Old Ones in Lustria.
The Lizardmen are a reptilian race of the Warhammer Fantasy setting, living in the jungles of Lustria. They were created by the Old Ones, star-travelling gods, to help with their great works, and their culture and look are heavily inspired by the Aztecs and the Maya.
Lore & Background
The oldest race in the world, they are the dominant power in Lustria, and their ancient Temple-Cities, the greatest being Itza and Hexoatl, stand deep in the jungle. They are led by the Slann, who serve as leaders and priests and follow the barely understandable prophecies the Old Ones left behind. For all their fearsome appearance, the Lizardmen oppose Chaos and defend Order, though they are often indifferent to other races and hostile to anyone who enters Lustria.
