Hysh
The Realm of Light and its Ten Paradises, home of Teclis, Tyrion and the Lumineth.
Hysh, the Realm of Light, is the Mortal Realm formed from the wind of light and the home of the aelven civilisation of the Lumineth Realm-lords, who serve the ascended twin gods Teclis and Tyrion. Its ten continents, the Ten Paradises, are themselves symbols and shapes with hidden meanings, and many ethereal moons hang in its sky. Once the realm of reason and symmetry, its interlocking lands could shift with each leap of thought, and its people - from the scholars of its great human cities to the wordless tribes of the crystal caves - were raised to higher thought by the land itself; but Chaos crept in more insidiously than in Aqshy, Ghur or Shyish, through pride and the pursuit of perfection, and those cities were cast down.
Hysh's magic does not settle into realmstone but travels as beams of light, which its seers learned to trap in prisms as aetherquartz, a gem that quickens mind and body and serves as currency. Its sister realm Ulgu shares its orbit.
