Azyr
The Realm of Heavens: Sigmar's refuge, the city of Azyrheim, and the Sigmarabulum around Mallus.
Azyr, the Realm of Heavens or Celestial Realm, is the Mortal Realm that coalesced from the celestial wind of magic and the scattered remains of Mallus, the World-That-Was. It is a glittering realm of palaces, fortresses and celestial cities ruled by the God-King Sigmar and peopled by men, aelves and duardin who took shelter there during the Age of Chaos; after the Battle of Burning Skies Sigmar sealed its gates against the Dark Gods. Snowy peaks scrape its firmament, auroras dance on the horizon, its days are lit by the nearby Realm of Hysh and its nights by the High Star Sigendil.
At its heart is golden-spired Azyrheim, the greatest city in the realms, founded in the Age of Myth; far above spins the Sigmarabulum, the fortress-ring around the husk of the old world, holding the Anvil of Apotheosis where the Stormcast Eternals are forged. Of all the realms Azyr was least touched by the Necroquake. Its runemark is the Comet of Power.
