Warhammer Age of Sigmar Codexery

Aqshy

The Realm of Fire, first to feel Sigmar's Storm at the Brimstone Peninsula.

Aqshy, the Realm of Fire, is the Mortal Realm born of the fiery wind of magic and the remains of Mallus: a passionate, aggressive realm of volatile arid landscapes, hot gusting winds, blazing heat and sulphurous fumes. It lay long under the rule of Chaos, above all the Khorne Bloodbound. It was the first realm partly reclaimed for Order: the Stormcast Eternals opened the Realmgate Wars here, the Hammers of Sigmar striking the Brimstone Peninsula, hemmed in by the Igneous Delta and the Smoulder Track, to reopen its Gate of Azyr as a beachhead for the invasion. Sigmar concentrated his Stormcast forces in the region called the Great Parch, where the Cities of Sigmar now stand. Aqshy was also the setting of the Dawnbringer Crusade campaign that preceded the game's fourth edition in 2024.
