Warhammer Age of Sigmar Codexery

Sigmarite

The living metal of Mallus from which Stormcast armour and weapons are forged.

Sigmarite is a magical, living metal that the God-King Sigmar uses to make the armour and weapons of the Stormcast Eternals. It is mined from Mallus, the surviving core of the World-That-Was, which hangs above Sigmar's palace-city of Sigmaron in Azyr. Every sigmarite weapon carries a fraction of Azyr's might: a blow lands with the force of a thunderclap, and a sigmarite-tipped arrow flies with the fury of lightning. Sigmar also forged a necklace of sigmarite from the core as a gift of thanks to the drake Dracothion.
