Vampire (Soulblight Gravelords)

The Soulblight Gravelords are the vampire faction of the Grand Alliance of Death in Warhammer Age of Sigmar: undead lords and their vampire minions who seek to dominate the living and control Shyish, the Realm of Death. A vampire is an undead humanoid of vast necromantic power whose unlife is sustained by consuming the lifeforce of the living, usually as blood. Vampires lead the undead in Nagash's service and rule kingdoms of deathless servants in Shyish; unlike most of the undead they keep their intelligence, will and ambition, spending eternity honing their skills and schemes, and they make new vampires by draining a victim's blood and then sharing their own tainted blood.

The faction is led by two of Nagash's Mortarchs, Neferata, the Mortarch of Blood, and Mannfred von Carstein, the Mortarch of Night. The degenerate Abhorrant Ghoul Kings of the Flesh-eater Courts are also vampires, though they believe themselves noble kings.
