Maggotkin of Nurgle

The Maggotkin of Nurgle are the mortal and daemonic followers of Nurgle, the Plague God, and one of the factions of the Grand Alliance of Chaos in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. They thrive in decay and disease and are known for resilient, grotesque warriors who spread rot and despair wherever they march. Like their god they are oddly good-natured about it: Nurgle is a paternal, jovial deity who regards disease as a gift and the teeming life of rot as a cause for joy. In Ghyran their war against Alarielle and the sylvaneth is known as the War of Life; at its height almost the whole realm was under Nurgle's control until the Stormcast Eternals arrived.
