Sanguinius is a Primarch of the Horus Heresy, the son of the Emperor of Mankind. He is the primarch of the IX Legion. A short novel titled Sanguinius: The Great Angel was written by Chris Wraight and published in 2022. He is one of the primarchs featured in the anthologies Sons of the Emperor (2018), The Lords of Terra (2018), Scions of the Emperor (2019), and Blood of the Emperor (2021).
