Primarch of the Ultramarines and author of the Codex Astartes, resurrected after ten thousand years.

Roboute Guilliman is the Primarch, the genetic "father", of the original Ultramarines Legion of Space Marines in Warhammer 40,000, and the author of the Codex Astartes. After the Horus Heresy he allowed the creation of a new generation of Space Marines.

When Guilliman was resurrected ten thousand years later, Legions of these Primaris Space Marines were brought into the Imperial forces to reinforce the existing Chapters and found new ones. Primaris Marines wear a new pattern of power armour and are larger and more resilient than the older Space Marines, who became known as Firstborn.
