Moss - 12
The close-range pump shotgun.
The Moss - 12 is a pump-action shotgun that appears often in the Uncharted series. It is deadly at short range, killing any enemy in one shot, but its damage falls away fast at medium range and to nothing at long range. Its slow rate of fire and reload make it weak against groups, though it can fire while shells are still being loaded.

Background
The name appears to shorten the Mossberg Maverick, with the 12 standing for 12-gauge. In Drake's Fortune it first appears in "Plane-wrecked", used only by Eddy Raja's pirates, especially the heavy and armoured ones who rush at Nate. Golden Abyss uses a mariner version.
