Redania
The Northern Kingdom of King Vizimir, Prince Radovid and the spymaster Dijkstra.
Redania is one of the Northern Kingdoms in The Witcher. In the novels it is ruled by King Vizimir II, whose brother is Prince Radovid V and whose spymaster is Sigismund Dijkstra.
Background
The sorceress Philippa Eilhart is King Vizimir's advisor and remains in Redania's court after his assassination, which she herself arranged. In The Tower of the Swallow, Dijkstra travels to the neutral nation of Kovir seeking financing to rebuild Redania's army in anticipation of a Nilfgaardian invasion, and in The Lady of the Lake the Nilfgaardians are eventually routed by Redanian forces.
In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the Continent is caught up in a war between the empire of Nilfgaard and Redania, ruled by King Radovid V, and Oxenfurt appears as a Redanian city. In the Netflix series, Philippa orchestrates Vizimir's assassination and crowns Radovid.
