The elven sage who speaks of Ithlinne's prophecy and seeks the child of Lara Dorren's line.
Avallac'h is an elven sage in The Witcher. In The Tower of the Swallow he talks to Geralt about Ithlinne's prophecy of the end of the world and tells him that he must not seek out Ciri, since what is predestined will happen regardless.
Lore & Background
In The Lady of the Lake, the sage Avallac'h explains to Ciri that, as Lara Dorren's last descendant, the gene she carries will make her child the most powerful magic-user in history, able to save the world from a prophesied cataclysm, and that she must bear this child with the Aen Elle king, Auberon; he assures her that once she bears the child, she will be returned to her own time.

In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Avallac'h is Ciri's companion, who placed her in an enchanted sleep on a magical island to safeguard her from the Wild Hunt and later prepares a trap for the Hunt by luring them to Skellige. Before he dies, Eredin claims that Avallac'h plans to use Ciri's power for his own ends, but Ciri reveals that he only ever intended to fight the White Frost. In The Witcher: Blood Origin, a young Avallac'h is played by Samuel Blenkin.
