Lyria and Rivia
The twin Northern Kingdom of Queen Meve, who knighted Geralt of Rivia.
Lyria and Rivia is one of the Northern Kingdoms in The Witcher, ruled by Queen Meve. In Time of Contempt, Rivia and Lyria, along with Aedirn, fall quickly to the Nilfgaardian invaders.
Lore & Background
Geralt of Rivia does not come from Rivia; he helped Queen Meve during an important battle, after which she knighted him, officially bestowing on him the title. In The Lady of the Lake, while Geralt is in Rivia meeting his friends Yarpen Zigrin and Zoltan Chivay, a riot and pogrom erupts with humans killing non-humans.
