School of the Wolf
The witcher school of Kaer Morhen, where Geralt of Rivia was trained.
The School of the Wolf is the witcher school of Kaer Morhen, the mountain fortress and stronghold of the Wolven school witchers, located in Kaedwen. Geralt of Rivia was given away shortly after his birth to train there, with Vesemir as his mentor and father figure, and the Wolf medallion he received after completing his training is the symbol of Kaer Morhen.
Lore & Background
Geralt survived the mutations of the Trial of the Grasses, which gave him witcher traits: high resistance to injury, poison and diseases, as well as slowed aging. Ciri trained with Geralt under the School of the Wolf at Kaer Morhen in her youth, watched over by Geralt, Coën, Vesemir, Lambert, Eskel and Triss, but she did not undertake the Trial of the Grasses to officially become a witcher. In the first The Witcher video game, Kaer Morhen is attacked by an unknown group of assailants, who escape with the School of the Wolf's key mutagens and the formulae that detail how to create witchers.
