Training at Kaer Morhen
Where Ciri is trained by the few remaining witchers in Blood of Elves.
In Blood of Elves, Geralt of Rivia takes Ciri to the witchers' keep, Kaer Morhen, to be trained by the few remaining witchers. She is trained under the watchful eyes of Geralt, Coën, Vesemir, Lambert, Eskel and Triss, becoming skilled with a sword.
Lore & Background
The oldest witcher, Vesemir, asks the sorceress Triss Merigold to help with strange behavior he has seen in Ciri, and Triss eventually realizes that Ciri is a "Source". Unable to control Ciri's talent, she advises Geralt to seek help from Yennefer, a more experienced sorceress. In the spring, Geralt leaves Kaer Morhen with Triss and Ciri to deliver Ciri to the Temple School in Ellander.
Reader's Guide
Kaer Morhen, located in Kaedwen, is the stronghold of the Wolven school witchers, where Geralt himself was trained with Vesemir as his mentor. Ciri trained there under the School of the Wolf in her youth, but she did not undertake the Trial of the Grasses to officially become a witcher.
