Apocrypha

Hermaeus Mora's realm of Oblivion, reached through the Black Books.

Apocrypha is a realm of Oblivion belonging to Hermaeus Mora, the Daedric Prince of Fate, Knowledge and Memory, in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn. Reading a Black Book transports the player there; on the first visit they witness Miraak planning his invasion of Tamriel before he has a pair of Seekers, the guardians of Apocrypha, return them to Solstheim.

Lore & Background

Through the Black Books the player returns to Apocrypha and meets Hermaeus Mora, who imparts knowledge in exchange for the secrets of the Skaal for his vast library. In the final confrontation the player uses Bend Will to subdue Miraak's dragon Sahrotaar, who flies them to Miraak's tower, the Summit of Apocrypha, where afterwards dragon souls can be exchanged to recover perk points.
