Shivering Isles
Sheogorath's realm of madness, the setting of Oblivion's second expansion.
The Shivering Isles are a plane of Oblivion ruled by the Daedric prince of madness, Sheogorath, and the setting of The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles, released on March 27, 2007. The expansion added the eponymous plane to Oblivion and was later bundled with Knights of the Nine in the Game of the Year edition.
Lore & Background
Shivering Isles made little change to Oblivion's basic mechanics, and reviewers judged it a brief but polished addition to the game's main plot. Together with Battlespire's separate dimension and parts of Oblivion itself, it is one of the few Elder Scrolls settings that lie outside the continent of Tamriel.
