Demon weapons in Soul Eater are humans born with the power to turn into weapons, wielded by partners called meisters.

Lore & Background

The witch Arachne made the first demon weapons 800 years before the story by joining the souls of witches with humans and weapons. At DWMA weapons train with their meisters, and a weapon that takes 99 evil souls and a witch's soul becomes a death scythe. Soul Eater is a scythe, Tsubaki a shadow weapon, and Liz and Patty are pistols.
